"Nitharsanam accused SMM Bazeer a Sri Lankan Muslim lawyer practicing in England (and the Director of the Sri Lankan Muslim Information Centre in London) of having connections with the ‘Osama Group’ in the East. This attack would have been motivated in part by this Tiger need to create the bogey of Islamic fundamentalism in the East so that the world will become a little less interested in child solders and Black Tigers and little more interested in Islamic terrorists. Previously too there were attempts to create the impression of armed Islamic fundamentalist groups operating in the East".
