There
was NO need for Yahapalana Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Parliamentarians to
go to UK and campaign the Sri Lanka Britons to vote in favour of PM Cameron's
support for UK to stay in the EU. Sri Lanka has violated the Covenants of
International Law and International Relations. No doubt we are having a Foreign
Ministry that is malfunctioning and Sri Lankan diplomats posted abroad doing
"sweet all nothing" and enjoying the perks provided, educating their
children abroad and now trying to gather support from the Sri Lankan diaspora
to celebrate a "SRI LANKA DAY" on the 17th., of August 2016, as
instructed by the FM in all the capitals in the world. Britons voting to EXIT
from the EU is a great blessing to make the political situation in Sri Lanka
more stable.

'Announcements about Chilcot have stirred long dormant feelings of opposition to the war' - Lindsey German
'It is little understood by those around government and national media how deep the contempt for Blair goes.'
How many of us had heard the name of Fallujah before the invasion and
occupation of Iraq? Probably not many. Thirteen years on, it is
impossible not to associate the name with bloodshed and warfare.
Impossible to imagine the hell on earth which the people of Fallujah
have been subjected to. US invasion and siege, the use of white
phosphorus, the devastation of so many lives, sectarian division, the
occupation of the town by ISIS and its brutal rule there, and now the
siege and attack by the Iraqi government, aided by Western troops.
Thousands inside the city are suffering, starving hostages caught in the
battle.
Television coverage of the Middle East wars tends to look back no
further than the last siege, or suicide bomb, or sectarian attack. The
desire for sensational news overrides the necessity of serious analysis.
Especially when such analysis tends to see the events there as
reflecting a series of catastrophic decisions made by western
politicians.

after their press conference in the East Room of the White House on 12
November 2004. Public Domain.
Dear Mr Blair,
We present ourselves here today to pay our respects and remember the
courageous soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service
of their country in Iraq. Also to voice our support to the brave
personnel currently involved in operations in Iraq who are dedicated to
doing their duty. We feel that the most effective way of showing our
support is to influence a prompt, safe return with the dignity and
respect they so rightly deserve.
When enlisting, service men and women sign an “Oath of Allegiance” to
Her Majesty’s Government. All these people ask in return is that their
government act in an honourable, truthful and responsible manner and
only deploy troops into the theatre of war to risk their lives when
absolutely necessary when all avenues of diplomacy have been exhausted.
To deploy these troops based on deceit of WMD is totally morally
unacceptable. The blame lies firmly at your doorstep. This was a
contrived war, a war of option not necessity.
Where is the accountability, Mr Blair, for the 74 British servicemen
killed, several injured and over 100,000 innocent Iraq victims, men,
women and children dead? Where is the apology you said you can give? You
have not said sorry to one single family.
How, Mr Blair, can you walk through all this human carnage with
impunity? We now form part of a campaign with the support of many MPs
dedicated to bringing you to account. We will not go away! The
possibilities and feasibility of “impeachment” are currently being
explored.
