The campaign to release south London IT worker Babar Ahmad is asking supporters to sign an e‑petition which demands he should be tried in Britain.
Babar has been held without trial for more than seven years as he fights extradition to the US on trumped up terrorism charges.
Over 40,000 people have signed the petition so far.
His campaign says, “If we make the 100,000 mark it will be a huge symbolic victory and cause major embarrassment to the government.”
